Questions regarding the forecast

How can I improve the forecast quality?

It is possible the forecasts don't work perfectly in some cases. In this case you should send me an eMail with the data. Generally, the results should be fine if the time series are

• homoscedastic,
• stationary and
• equidistant

and all important data is part of the input data. The system itself clusters similar days, hours and implicitly deals with possibilities as whether saturdays and sundays are or are not free days. Also, it assumes the times are in Berlin/Paris/Rom wall time (CET / CEST). Other time zones should work as well but might benefit from other time zones. National holidays are being considered automatically for data from Germany, Austria and Italy. Should you with to have other national holidays included, please add them as an additional column to the input data or ask me to add them (which I can do in case of regular national holidays).

My forecast is being processed for much more than one minute

Depending on server load, file size the calculation may last longer. Just wait. Only calculations longer than 5 minutes are actively being interrupted and only if there are other users trying to use the system.

Why this project?

Due to rich experience in the sector I am convinced that most of the Data Science related forecasting work can be automated.

Why is this site free?

It's a beta version to demonstrate what the system can do - a so called MVP. This offer is going to be expanded in case of meaningful demand.

What about data protection?

Nothing personal is saved, so there is nothing to protect. Your Excel and CSV files will be only ever kept in memory and garbage-collected after processing your request.

Can I use this system in other ways, e.g., at home, at a company, as part of my projects, ...?
